Hospital pharmacy workflow software

Connect medicine setup, stock receipt and dispensing inside the care workflow.

Everchart's current pharmacy workspace covers a medicine catalogue, supplier setup, batch-and-expiry stock receipt, prescription dispensing and counter sale for a hospital or clinic. It is deliberately not positioned as retail e-commerce or broad supply-chain software.

  • Medicine catalogue and suppliers
  • Batch and expiry stock receipt
  • Prescription dispensing and counter sale
Current pharmacy path

Set up medicines, receive stock and serve the patient.

Inventory, prescribing, dispensing and counter sale use separate permissions. The workflow below describes only actions exposed in the released hospital workspace.

  1. Prepare the catalogue

A permitted inventory user adds the medicine details needed by the hospital or clinic pharmacy.

  2. Add the supplier

The supplier master records the source used when receiving stock.

  3. Receive a stock lot

The receipt flow records the medicine, supplier, quantity, batch and expiry details exposed by the current form.

  4. Dispense a prescription

A permitted dispenser opens the prescription queue and records the authorised medicine issue.

  5. Record a counter sale

A permitted seller can complete a separate counter-sale flow and its payment reference requirements.

Buyer fit

Pharmacy buyer fit

Consider Everchart when

  • Hospitals evaluating pharmacy work alongside OPD and billing handoffs.
  • Clinics using the supported medicine-counter scope within their approved workspace.
  • Teams willing to validate catalogue, supplier, lot and permission setup before use.

Choose another route when

  • A standalone retail chain seeking e-commerce, marketplace or broad distribution features.
  • A buyer requiring purchase-order, transfer, return or recall automation from this page.
  • A team assuming a pharmacy role may prescribe, receive, dispense and sell without separate permissions.
Implementation and migration

Validate medicines, lots and responsibilities first.

Pharmacy setup is part data preparation and part governance. The hospital remains responsible for its catalogue, stock verification, dispensing practice and access assignments.

  1. 01

    Prepare catalogue data

Agree medicine naming, form, strength and the source responsible for validating each entry.

  2. 02

    Configure suppliers and stock

Load the suppliers and opening stock information included in the agreed migration scope.

  3. 03

    Assign permissions

Separate inventory transactions, prescribing, dispensing and counter sale according to hospital responsibility.

  4. 04

    Test patient handoffs

Use synthetic prescriptions and sales to validate documents, payments and exception handling before go-live.

Data and access

Catalogue and stock actions remain tied to the organisation and permitted employee action rather than a shared unrestricted login.

A narrow hospital-pharmacy claim

The URL serves buyers searching broadly, but the content qualifies the product to its evidenced hospital and clinic use.

  • No purchase-order, transfer, return, recall or enterprise supply-chain function is implied.
  • No retail marketplace, e-commerce or standalone distribution-network claim is made.
  • The software does not replace pharmacist review, stock controls or the organisation's medicine-governance procedures.
Buyer questions

Answers without hidden assumptions.

The structured data on this page is generated from these exact visible answers.

Is this software for a retail pharmacy chain?

The page describes Everchart's hospital and clinic pharmacy workspace. It does not present retail e-commerce, marketplace or distribution-chain operations.

Can the pharmacy receive stock with batch and expiry details?

Yes. The current receipt flow exposes medicine, supplier, quantity, batch and expiry information for the stock lot.

Are prescription dispensing and counter sales separate?

Yes. They are separate workflows and permissions, so a user's access should match their actual responsibility.

Does Everchart include purchase orders or stock transfers?

Those wider supply-chain functions are not presented as released on this page. Buyers should not infer them from the pharmacy category name.

How is opening stock migrated?

The hospital and Everchart agree the source, fields, validation owner and cutover method during pilot scoping. No migration timing is promised before that review.

Choose the correct onboarding path

Scope a hospital pilot, or onboard a clinic or centre.

Hospital teams begin with discovery and readiness checks. Eligible clinics and diagnostic centres use their separate onboarding route. Sign-in remains a separate account action in the site header.
