ABDM integration questions for HMIS buyers, with Everchart's status first.

This page helps hospital and IT teams ask precise questions about ABDM-related development, sandbox work and production claims. It does not provide legal or medical advice and does not use an official programme name as a sales badge.

  • Official NHA and government sources only
  • Sandbox work separated from production status

Buyer due diligence

Separate ecosystem learning, development and released production capability.

The exact official requirements can change. Buyers should read the current official sources and request dated evidence for every vendor statement.

  1. Understand the official ecosystem

Start with the official ABDM website for current programme language, participant information and published resources.

  2. Inspect the sandbox context

The official sandbox supports development and testing. Sandbox activity alone is not production approval, certification or endorsement.

  3. Define the intended workflow

Ask which identifier, registry, consent, record-sharing or facility workflow is actually in scope instead of accepting a broad integration label.

  4. Request dated production evidence

Verify the environment, released version, applicable facility scope, dependencies and support ownership in writing.

  5. Plan operational governance

The hospital should define consent, identity, downtime, staff training and exception handling for any future released workflow.

Availability and boundaries

How to read integration language

A buyer should be able to tell what evidence supports each stage and what remains unfinished.

CapabilityStatusWhat that means
Official ABDM informationBuyer check

Use the current official ABDM website rather than vendor paraphrases as the source of programme terminology.

Official sandboxBuyer check

Confirm what the sandbox tests and remember that a development environment is not production approval.

Government e-Hospital contextBuyer check

Government e-Hospital and NextGen eHospital are official systems and should not be confused with a commercial product name.

Everchart application and integrationIn progress

Everchart’s application/integration is in progress. This is not NHA approval, and Everchart must not be marketed as ABDM-enabled or ABDM-compliant.

Released Everchart ABDM production workflowNot offered

No released production workflow or official approval is claimed on this page.

Buyer fit

Who should use this resource

Consider Everchart when

  • Hospital procurement, IT and governance teams reviewing vendor language.
  • Owners and administrators who need a dated Everchart status before a pilot discussion.
  • Clinical operations teams preparing questions about consent, identity and downtime ownership.

Choose another route when

  • A person who requires NHA approval; Everchart does not claim that status.
  • A team treating sandbox access as evidence of production readiness.
  • Anyone seeking legal, medical or regulatory advice from a product-marketing page.
Implementation and migration

Questions to resolve before any future production rollout.

These are evaluation questions, not a statement that Everchart has completed the work.

  1. 01

    Name the released use case

Document the exact workflow and users rather than relying on a general ABDM label.

  2. 02

    Validate official status

Check current official records and written evidence with the accountable vendor owner.

  3. 03

    Test consent and exceptions

Include identity mismatch, consent refusal, downtime and failed-exchange scenarios.

  4. 04

    Record support ownership

Assign who monitors, escalates and communicates each dependency after go-live.

Security and truth boundary

Status and advice boundary

This resource is intentionally cautious because programme and vendor status statements can be misunderstood.

  • It does not state that Everchart is approved, certified, enabled or production-connected.
  • It does not reproduce official logos or imply NHA, ABDM or government endorsement.
  • It is educational product information, not legal, regulatory, implementation or medical advice.
Buyer questions

Answers without hidden assumptions.

The structured data on this page is generated from these exact visible answers.

Is Everchart approved by NHA?

Everchart’s application/integration is in progress. This is not NHA approval, and Everchart must not be marketed as ABDM-enabled or ABDM-compliant.

Does sandbox work prove production readiness?

No. The official sandbox is a development and testing environment. A buyer should separately verify the released production workflow and current official status.

What evidence should a hospital request from an HMIS vendor?

Ask for the exact use case, environment, released version, dated official status, dependencies, consent flow, exception handling, data boundary and support owner.

Is government e-Hospital the same as a commercial eHospital product?

No. Government e-Hospital and NextGen eHospital are official systems. Similar commercial product names must be evaluated separately to avoid trademark and source confusion.

Will this page be updated?

Everchart's status and the cited official links are scheduled for quarterly review and should also be updated when a material verified milestone changes. The visible review date must remain factual.

Editorial note

Reviewed 17 October 2026

This page is reviewed quarterly and after a material verified status change. Corrections can be sent through the Everchart contact page. Official sources are linked, paraphrased cautiously and should be read in their current form.

Choose the correct onboarding path

Scope a hospital pilot, or onboard a clinic or centre.

Hospital teams begin with discovery and readiness checks. Eligible clinics and diagnostic centres use their separate onboarding route. Sign-in remains a separate account action in the site header.
